Great app, until it only lets you input 50 items and then asks you to upgrade to the premium for $10.95. A total money grab and waste of time. Dont bother with it.

Was optimistic about a free app, but to elaborate from another reviewer, it doesnt work, because they ask you to create an account, then you must verify your email address (from a link in your email), then when you go to login, it doesnt work; and directs you to "lost account" function, which doesnt exist, and if it does, my guess would be to collect more of you personal info. If youre brave enough to try it, dont give up ANYTHING personal or that you use for other accounts.

Im not interested to know where I bought a DVD, I want to know how many Italian or Swedish or whatever country I have to be filtered by. Other collectors Apps they have it. A solution please.

I recently discovered the reason why my original mymovies app wasnt working properly - I needed the updated/upgraded app: mymovies and Tv collection. So excitedly, I updated and downloaded the new app. With a large movie selection, I quickly realized the brilliance of this app and that I required the pro version to include all of our movie titles. I willingly paid for the pro version, as I felt it was totally worthwhile. However, now that I have updated/upgraded the app (mymovies and tv collections) I once again realize that I required the pro version. Imagine my surprise that I am required to pay AGAIN for the pro version of an app that I have ALREADY purchased! Not even a discount/credit recognizing my original payment contribution (as this new update/upgrade is more expensive than the original pro version). I have to say how disappointed and angry I am. I love this app but Im not willing to pay TWICE for an app they decided to update/upgrade that I have ALREADY PURCHASED. I am a customer who referred many friends and fellow movie lovers to your app, but who will now be telling them the scam you are running to grab more money from a group of people who have already paid for your pro version. Feeling unsatisfied and unbelievably cheated...my original pro version doesnt even work anymore.

Loving this app so far. I just scan my discs barcode and it adds it to the library. Perfect for when Im shopping so I dont accidentally buy a duplicate

This "update" which is essentially just a new black skin, is a rip off. I downloaded this just to write a review to warn possible futur users. 5.99$ to update to a new app is ridiculous, I already paid 5.99$ for the first app, the update should be part of it, and not a completely new app. Total scam to try and get more money from the people who supported your app in the first place. Will not buy/upgrade, you lost a customer! <UPDATE 8.99$ now!!!!>

I got this and started to add movies. I got to 12 and it wouldnt take anymore. I wrote to the help email and got a person. They didnt write back after the initial contact. I wrote again they asked my problem.i told them it wouldnt take more then 12 titles. They got me to try two things. Neither worked and now octant get anyone to write me back. Have since got BFB app and its working quite well. Go with another app.

Finally an app that allows me to catalogue my movies! And that reminds me which ones Ive seen ;)... Good job!

I have been on the hunt for the best movie catalogue app for sometime. They all have features I want/like but none have them all. Finally...I think this new version of My Movies has them all! More options like UV, Digital Copy, Box Sets, physical and digital locations, etc. are important when cataloging movies and this version finally has all of those! I have been using the free version for a few days and have already maxed my 50 titles out. I plan of upgrading to the Pro version very soon. The reasons I gave this app a 3 out of 5 after praising it is because their are some big issues that need addressed. The app consistently lags during scanning barcodes, syncing them to your library and constant syncing issues with the server upon app load up. If they can get these bugs figured out its a 5 out of 5 hands down; but until then I feel this is a fair rating.

Stop advertising free if there is a limit. Be proud of your product and put your charge upfront and let people buy it or let them move along. Geeshhhh!!!!

It seemed like a great app at first. I downloaded the free version to test the product before paying for it. The cons outweighed the pros enough so that I will not be purchasing this app. I will look for something better. Cons: It kept interrupting what I was doing with a pop-up that said "database must be synchronized to perform this action would you like to synchronize now?" You had to select yes or no. It does this every few seconds, and it doesnt save what you just entered regardless of whether you choose yes or no. I also dont see a way to indicate on a single title whether if you own both a disc and a digital copy. The "help and support" button under settings just takes you to a dead end page that says "update problems?" and nothing else. Pros: you can edit the collection number which would make it easy to add my collection and keep my current organization system.

I will be purchasing the Pro version based on how well the freebie trial went.

I own hundreds of movies, probably close to 5 or 6 hundred. Shopping for movies is a hassle sometimes because Ive accidentally purchased duplicates quite a few times. Ive tried keeping a list of them all with no luck since such a large list isnt very portable. I like being able to scan the barcode to quickly add movies/shows to my list. Downside!?! Stores that sell extremely discounted movies often replace these upcs and theyre often not in the database. I also like being able to track my digital copies of movies. Free version is limited to 50 titles, but if you upgrade to the paid version you can just log in, and sync to get your free versions list.

Use this app all the time. Havent had an issue yet. I love the wall listing as I used to work for a video store and it looks very similar to what Im used to seeing all the time. Definitely worth all 5 stars :)

Quick, easy adding of new titles, great customer support and communication, fantastic website. If you want to catalog your media library, look no further.

Seems like a decent app..looked and looked couldnt find any limit info, downloaded ,had to give my email and name info to them to use.. You can only scan not even save just scan 50 titles. Pro version is 8 bucks.
